Our small business Limited Liability Company (LLC) is always seeking to find Engineers with significant Commissioning Authority and LEED experience.  As a small business, we seek to find these qualified professsionals without the assistance of a professional recruiter.  We therefore ask that no recruiters contact our firm at this stage of our development.  We currently have a need for one full-time CxA in the D.C. area, as follows:

 

We currently have a need for an experienced full-time, savvy Commissioning Authority in the Washington, D.C. area.    Candidate must have at least (10) years facilities engineering experience, (2) years full time commissioning experience, be a LEED AP, and have a recognized Commissioning Certification.  Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be thorough and persistent.  A Professional Engineer license is desirable but not mandatory.  After receiving training on our specific process and documents, Candidate will manage all aspects of commissioning projects from design phase through warranty phase.  Minimum of (3) Owner references from Cx projects that you led or played the major role in are required.

 

In addition to the position above, we are interested in signing up additional members (similar to partners) to jointly pursue and perform Cx projects under LLC Membership agreements, as follows:

 

Our current geographical reach is roughly from Hampton, Virginia up to Newtown, PA.  We are looking to add experienced Commissioning Authority partners in the Philadelphia area and the Richmond, Virginia or Tidewater Virginia areas, to expand our reach throughout PA and up to New York City and also further throughout Virginia and into North Carolina. The ideal candidate would have their own business, or be able to work part time on top of their regular employment for an appropriate period (until a full-time workload is built up).  Partner must have at least (10) years facilities engineering experience, (2) years full time commissioning experience, be a LEED AP, and have a recognized Commissioning Certification or be willing to promptly obtain one.  A Professional Engineer license is desirable but not mandatory.  Contact us and we can initiate discussions of key details.

 

An LLC is very flexible.  Within our LLC, we have several options for membership and employment.  An equity partnership position is one.  Full or part-time employment are others. Also, we are open to other partnering or sub-contracting agreements to assist us with workload overflow as well as in-depth Electrical Systems commissioning.
